only 12km and 1000m climbing to go

Start of the col joux plane
On the 22nd July the Tour de France passed within 200m of Chalet Andelain. For the week we had Mark and Simon and families from Stourbridge Cycling Club staying with us plus Roger, Ian, Dave, Warren, Mel and Bryan plus families staying nearby, all members of Stourbridge Cycling Club.
Some great rides were made during the week including the Col de la Colombiere, Col de Romme, Col de Joux Plane and Col de la Ramaz. These boys pretty well wore me out. We hosted a barbeque party after the tour passed on wednesday.

Paragliding, Fantasticable & MTB for Darren’s 30th
Wednesday, July 8th, 2009
Darren came out and snowboarded with us in the winter and decided to spend his 30th birthday with us having a few adventures. Darren and Mark enjoyed paragliding in Les Carroz, the Fantasticable zipwire in Chatel and mountain biking with me all around the Grand Massif.
